<세션 소개문>

AI는 이제 한 국가의 기술을 넘어 인류의 미래를 재편하는 새로운 질서의 중심이 되었다. 데이터와 알고리즘이 권력의 기반이 되고, 기술 역량이

곧 국가 경쟁력으로 이어지는 오늘의 세계는 그 어느 때보다 치열한 AI 패권 경쟁 속에 있다. 그러나 진정한 미래의 승자는 가장 빠른 나라가 아니라,

가장 현명하게 협력하고 가장 인간적인 기술을 만들어내는 세대일 것이다.

이번 세션은 APEC이 제시하는 ‘AI 협력’의 비전 아래, 청소년이 직면할 기술 중심 사회의 현실을 인문학적으로 성찰하고,

AI 시대의 미래 인재가 갖춰야 할 세 가지 핵심 역량: 통찰력, 협력력, 그리고 인간력을 함께 탐구한다.

이어지는 청소년 발표에서는 기술과 인간, 경쟁과 공존, 혁신과 윤리의 균형에 대한 각자의 생각을 나누며, 인류와 기술이 조화를 이루는 미래를 상상해본다.

이 대화의 시간은 단순한 토론을 넘어, AI 시대를 살아갈 세대가 ‘함께 살아가는 법’을 배우고, 기술의 진보 속에서도

인간의 존엄과 공감의 가치를 잃지 않는 새로운 비전을 모색하는 장이 될 것이다.

AI has become more than a national technology—it now stands at the center of a new global order reshaping the future of humanity. In an age where data and algorithms form the basis of power and technological capability defines national competitiveness, the world finds itself in the midst of an unprecedented race for AI dominance. Yet the true winners of the future will not be those who move the fastest, but those who collaborate most wisely and create the most human-centered technologies.

Under APEC’s vision of “AI Cooperation,” this session invites young participants to reflect on the reality of a technology-driven world through the lens of the humanities and to explore the three essential competencies of future talent in the AI era—insight, collaboration, and humanity. Following the keynote, youth participants will present their own perspectives on the balance between technology and humanity, competition and coexistence,

innovation and ethics—imagining a future where humans and technology evolve together in harmony.

More than a discussion, this dialogue is a space for the next generation to learn how to live together in an age of complexity and change

—seeking a new vision for a world where technological progress and human dignity move forward hand in hand.
